Meet The Designer
Hi, I’m Grace Hernandez. I’m an interior designer born and based in Denver, Colorado. I’ve lived on both coasts of the US and love traveling to new countries and cities to experience new cultures and be inspired by their tradition and art. I have an irish-doodle pup named, Brighton, who inspired the name for my business, Brighten Designs. Ever since I was old enough to draw circles in a magazine, I’ve been designing and reimagining spaces to look new or trendy or timeless.
I began my professional work as a designer remodeling vintage campers to create a modern glamping experience. Around the same time, some friends asked me to help them start their first STR (short-term rental) while they were traveling, which inspired me to help people start STRs and use my design skills to create unique experiences for guests. I continued my journey in design by attending and completing The Interior Design Institute, and then acquired a job designing and staging Airbnb’s around the US for individual clients. My expertise is in STR design, although I love any opportunity to try something new!

I value spaces that speak. Spaces that tell a story to the traveler. When designing a space, my aim is to craft a space that does just that. Our initial consultation serves as the canvas upon which we paint the narrative you wish to convey through your space; then, through the design process, we bring that story to life.
